Pumpkin Spice Waffles

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice Frontier Co-Op
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree


  1. Stir all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, melted butter well, then stir in the pumpkin puree.

  2. Add the wet & dry ingredients together and mix until combined.

  3. Use a laddle to pour the waffle mixture into the waffle iron/maker. Make sure that the paddle is full of batter and that you place the batter in the center of the waffle iron/maker.

  4. Monitor the waffles to insure that they do not over cook but, that they are tough enough to not fall apart. Of course, it depends how you like them. I like them to be a bit soft so that when I save them in my freezer and reheat them, they won't get hard quickly. 

  5. Garnish your waffles galore and voila! Enjoy!
