Hi my Little Pumpkin Spice Lover !
As you may know, PUMPKIN SEASON is upon us! What better way to celebrate FALL than to make and eat everything PUMPKIN! I’ve created the most amazing Pumpkin Spice waffles and I can’t wait for you to try them. You can have them exactly as the recipe dictates or you can add a little extra oomph to them too!
Personally, if you LOVE sweets, I highly recommend taking these Pumpkin Spice Waffles to the next level and adding dried cranberries + my Pumpkin Spice Candied Pecans as a garnish. I promise that this is an automatic waffle upgrade, darling! Last but not least, make sure to top them off with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and good quality maple syrup.
Now, if you’re feeling VERY EXTRA (brave sugar addicts only), like I usually am. Spread some Dulce de Leche aka Caramel spread on them before they are garnished! Trust me when I tell you that these are indulgent and amazing.
I hope you enjoy these all season long.
PS: You can freeze these! Oh and check out my Autumn Oatmeal
XO,
Guavette
Pumpkin Spice Waffles
Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice Frontier Co-Op
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/3 cup whole milk
- 3 tbsp butter melted
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
Instructions
-
Stir all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, melted butter well, then stir in the pumpkin puree.
-
Add the wet & dry ingredients together and mix until combined.
-
Use a laddle to pour the waffle mixture into the waffle iron/maker. Make sure that the paddle is full of batter and that you place the batter in the center of the waffle iron/maker.
-
Monitor the waffles to insure that they do not over cook but, that they are tough enough to not fall apart. Of course, it depends how you like them. I like them to be a bit soft so that when I save them in my freezer and reheat them, they won't get hard quickly.
-
Garnish your waffles galore and voila! Enjoy!
