Pumpkin Spice Candied Pecans Recipe

Welcome and Happy First Day of Autumn !!

 

Today I will be giving you my delicious and flavorful Pumpkin Spice Candied Pecans recipe. While I was secretly wishing that I was making leaf angels or hanging out by a fire pit making s’mores, I had to accept that I live in a constant season, SUMMER (Miami Problems lol). So, to get myself in the mood for the official first day of Fall, I created this amazing snack for myself and of course for all of you to enjoy.  I mean, who isn’t a fan of pumpkin spice anything now a days? These are not only the perfect snack but, I will also be posting all of my favorite ways that I use this delicious treat (stay tuned). Trust me, once you’ve had one you will certainly not put them down.

Pumpkin Spice Candied Pecans

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1.5 tsp pumpkin pie spice Frontier Co-op
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lb pecan halves
  • 1 tsp water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).

  2. Mix sugar,(1 tsp) cinnamon, (1tsp) pumpkin spice, and salt together in a bowl.

  3. Place parchment paper on your baking pan.

  4. Whisk egg white and water together in a separate bowl until frothy. Add pecans in the egg white mixture. Mix sugar mixture into pecan mixture until pecans are coated evenly. Spread coated pecans onto a baking sheet.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven, stirring every 15 minutes, until pecans are evenly browned, 1 hour.

  6. Once you take them out of the oven, stir them.

  7. Sprinkle 1 tsp of sugar, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp of pumpkin spice.

  8. Stir the pecans one last time to ensure that the are all coated. 

  9. Let the pecans cool down for about 30mins and ENJOY!
