MORIMOTO ASIA-Valentine’s Day Dinner

Hey There Lovebirds!

I recently went to Orlando and my husband decided to surprise me. He said “Get Cute, we’re going out” and so our night began. We had an early Valentines Day dinner at a restaurant that I had been DYING to go to since FOREVERRR. One thing I can always count on from the moment I met him is that he takes note of all of the places and things I like. I was thrilled that he had noted this place down and decided to save it for a special occasion (Guys, TAKE NOTE). I love the fact that everything he does and gifts is thoughtful. What can I say, I’m a lucky gal! Okay.. okay enough about him (LOL)!

As we walked aimlessly through Disney Springs (Me not knowing where I was actually going of course), we turned the corner and he gave me a smile and said “We’re Here!”. I was ECSTATIC! I could seriously jump up and down with excitement (LOL). I looked up and there was the sign “MORIMOTO ASIA”!! OMG! YAY!!! Morimoto Freaking Asiaaaaaaaa! I looked like a child in a candy store.

We walked in and since we had reservations we didn’t have to wait. We were immediately seated. All I have to say was WOW! This restaurant was beautiful. I absolutely loved the decor and ambiance. The lighting was dim, there were elegant ornaments hanging from the high ceilings and art from the walls. After being seated our very nice and helpful server came to attend us. From beginning to end he was very attentive and helpful all throughout our dining experience. Of course, we started with appetizers and drinks. I chose our appetizers of course because my husband loves for me to choose our food. He always says that anything I choose to eat is amazing so he trusts my judgement 🙂 ! Hey, Trust is one of the fundamental elements of a long-lasting loving relationship right?

We sipped on our drinks and ate our flavorful appetizers over a delightful conversation (pics below) and once we were done with our drinks and appetizers we proceeded to order our dinner. OMG! That dinner… sighs! I can’t even tell you how amazing my dish was. Well.. actually I can lol Below is the footage of our damage for your enjoyment. My dish was the Mongolian Filet (recommended by our waiter) and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ! Have you ever ordered the Mongolian Beef from Pei Wei or PF Changs and thought “Damn this is good”? Well, let me just tell you that this dish killed any Mongolian dish I have EVER tried. The Filet was cooked medium (as I always order) and it was laying on a bed of sautéed scallions + enoki mushrooms. The sweet sczechuan sauce came in a cup ready for me to pour as much or as little as I wanted. I proceeded to mix the rice in with the scallions, enoki mushrooms, sweet sczhecuan sauce and the filet mignon. Every bite was bursting with flavor and the meat was like butter. Honestly I couldn’t have asked for a more spectacular plate. Seriously, if you go to Orlando pleaseeeeee go to Morimoto Asia you will not be disappointed. I definitely had a beautiful and flavorful early Valentines Day dinner with my love.
