Hola My Darling!
Today I have prepared a Autumn Oatmeal that will rock your cozy socks off! Once this Oatmeal starts cooking, your whole house will smell like Fall. I decided to create this dish because Oatmeal is filling, delicious, healthy and very versatile. There’s simply nothing like a warm bowl of hearty oatmeal to satisfy and help you start your day. You will be able to modify this recipe to your liking and still not take away from its deliciousness so as long as you keep the spices in tact. Remember, it is “Autumn Oatmeal” after all lol 🙂 !

- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries sweetened
- 1/2 cup pecans chopped
- 6 tsp light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cup steel rolled oats Bobs Red Mills
- 1 tsp butter unsalted
Start by placing butter in the sauce pan and placing the temperature at medium-high.
Add the milk in the sauce pan.
Once the milk starts to bubble, add in the cinnamon, pumpkin spice, & steel rolled oats. Give it a light stir!
After about 5min, give it another stir and add in the dried cranberries so that they soak up that cinnamon milk (YUM)! Don't forget to turn the temperature down to low-medium heat.
Cook for another 10min, stir again, add in the light brown sugar, and the chopped pecans.
Once the oatmeal is tender or to your liking, stir, remove from the stove and turn off the heat (Unless you want your kitchen to turn into a chimney lol)
Serve your Oatmeal with a little garnish of uncooked dried cranberries and chopped pecans!
